EMU: Consumer Confidence almost unchanged in March

FXstreet.com (Barcelona) - Eurozone Consumer Confidence edged up to -23.5 in March, from -23.6 in February, the European Commission reported on Wednesday. This result is in line with market consensus.

Eurozone Business Climate fell to -0.86 in March, from -0.72 in February, below expectations of a decrease to -0.80.

The Economic Sentiment Indicator slid to 90 from 91.1 and below forecasts of declining to 90.4.

Industrial Confidence decline accelerated from -11.3 to -12.5, below expectations of -12. Services Sentiment dropped to -6.7 from -5.3 and below market consensus of falling to -6.5.
